SAMT Consult is an engineering consultancy for design and project management. We work for engineering offices that need reliable design capacity, and for developers and owners who need someone accountable for delivery.
The name
Samt is the Arabic word for a bearing — a direction measured, not guessed. The English word azimuth comes from it. It also means composure: a steady way of carrying yourself. Both describe how we work.

Founder and Managing Director
An architect who graduated from Damascus University in 2005, with twenty years as designer, site engineer, project manager and consultant on educational, commercial, healthcare and government projects.
He established his own design practice in 2008, worked as project manager and consultant with NGC Group in Erbil, and led a project management division at a Riyadh consultancy.
